JumpStart Autism Collective , an industry leader in autism care, is hiring full-time Behavior Technicians to work at our Albuquerque, NM center. What makes this opportunity special is that we'll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification by providing coursework, comprehensive training, and covering your exam fees! WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Our Behavior Technicians go through an extensive initial training program (making $17.00 - $18.00 / hour) and earn $18.50 - $19.50 / hour once training is complete.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A desire to work in the fields of psychology, education, or behavior analysis
• Experience with kids of all abilities
• Ability to work independently, receive constructive feedback, and adapt to changing environments
• Professionalism, dependability, and punctuality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A drive to never stop learning
• 18+ years old - Required
• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• Valid driver's license with a reliable, insured, and registered vehicle - Required
• CPR certification or ability to obtain one - Required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform quick body movements

AVERAGE DAY

As a Behavior Technician, you'll lead 1 : 1 ABA therapy sessions to teach children with autism (ages 1 to 12) life skills. You'll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), following personalized therapy paths to help each client achieve their goals. Here's a closer look :
