A company is looking for a Machine Learning Research Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Research and prototype novel computer vision models and training techniques

Lead end-to-end ML research projects and collaborate with ML Engineers for implementation

Drive innovation in areas like segmentation and vision-language models through rapid experimentation

Required Qualifications

3-4+ years of hands-on ML research experience; PhD preferred but not required with equivalent industry experience

Track record of meaningful research contributions and publications in peer-reviewed papers

Expert-level knowledge in PyTorch and modern vision architectures

Deep knowledge of object detection, instance segmentation, and related technologies

Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and focus on delivering real-world results
