Position SummarySERVISS is seeking a Senior Quantum Readiness & Cryptography Engineer to lead the strategy, architecture, implementation, and operational readiness for quantum-resilient cryptographic systems and programs. This technical leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, and engineering partners to advance quantum transition initiatives, post-quantum cryptographic standards adoption, and cryptographic inventory automation across enterprise environments. Successful candidates will blend deep cybersecurity systems engineering experience with practical understanding of quantum-era readiness frameworks and cryptographic lifecycle management. This role is hybrid and will require some on-site work at a federal agency with opportunities to also perform remote. Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide quantum readiness programs and cryptographic modernization efforts
• Define and execute engineering strategies for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) transition
• Build and operationalize automated cryptographic discovery, inventory, and risk analysis capabilities
• Evaluate tools and technologies for cryptographic inventory, quantum-safe algorithms, and crypto-agile architectures
• Interface with stakeholders to translate mission needs into secure, scalable engineering designs
• Develop system architecture, migration roadmaps, and engineering artifacts for PQC deployments
• Integrate quantum readiness outputs into governance, risk, and compliance reporting and tooling
• Mentor and coach mid-level engineers to grow capabilities in cryptographic engineering and quantum risk management
• Support audit, compliance, and continuous monitoring efforts for cryptographic controls and lifecycle management
