Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized support for elementary students with emotional disabilities in a South Carolina public school setting. With a start date of January 5th, 2026, and an end date of May 29th, 2026, the role requires 35 hours per week to support an elementary classroom caseload.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions tailored to students with emotional disabilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Provide a supportive and structured classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth
- Participate in team meetings and maintain regular communication with parents and school personnel
Qualifications :
Valid South Carolina Special Education (SPED) license with endorsement in Emotional Disabilities is requiredExperience working with elementary-aged students in special education settingsStrong knowledge of strategies and techniques for addressing emotional and behavioral challengesAbility to work collaboratively in a school team environment and adapt to the needs of diverse learnersLocation :
