Real Estate Family Office Associate Attorney - Fort Worth

Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Real Estate/Family Office Associate to join its Investment Strategies & Capital Solutions group in the Fort Worth office. This is a premier opportunity for a mid-level attorney with transactional experience to work with a nationally recognized team advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors on complex real estate and investment matters.Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements for commercial real estate transactions.

• Represent real estate sponsors in transactions involving:

  • Debt financing

  • Joint venture structuring

  • Offering documentation

  • Transactional closings

• Advise clients on post-acquisition asset management, including leasing, property management, and loan modifications.

• Represent sponsors and equity investors in various investment structures and joint ventures.

• Counsel single- and multi-family offices on structuring, succession planning, governance, and complex transactions involving real estate and capital investment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant transactional experience, ideally including real estate.

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

• Active membership in the Texas Bar.

• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Previous law firm or judicial clerkship experience.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex subject matter with confidence and precision.
