Position Overview

We're on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist ready to join a dynamic team of imaging professionals committed to providing exceptional healthcare. By utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you'll conduct essential diagnostic procedures, work closely with a supportive group of healthcare providers, and play a crucial role in delivering comfort and peace of mind to patients through timely and precise imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each stage of the procedure with empathy
  • Team up with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
  • Operate and maintain imaging apparatus, reporting any issues without delay
  • Keep thorough documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
  • Continuously update your knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Educational Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
  • Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
Required Certifications
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
