Responsibilities Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a women's and children's hospital setting Patient population consists of laboring mothers, including high-risk and obstetric cases Night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM 10-week assignment with full-time 40 hours per week schedule Uses Epic electronic medical record system Provide comprehensive nursing care and monitoring for laboring mothers, including those with high-risk obstetric needs Must have all licenses and certifications active at the time of consideration Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers All contingent workers are subject to a policy limiting assignments to two years within the system before a mandatory 90-day break Compliance with facility testing and vaccination requirements is expected Requirements Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration Graduate of an accredited nursing program At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery RN experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Preferred qualifications include a BSN, 5 years of recent L&D experience, and 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years Experience with Epic EMR preferred Submission requires last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-643013.
