SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Corporate Security Specialist (Security Systems Operator) will be to answer all calls for service related to security, as well as monitor and operate all electronic security systems, to include video, alarm and access control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and operate security systems.
• Respond to alarm events and emergency situations in a timely, effective and professional manner.
• Answer phone calls and direct security related inquiries as appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs of console activities.
• Report required information on events to Corporate Security Management in accordance with Corporate Security guidelines / standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of security devices and equipment.
• Execute all emergency procedures, particularly those relating to robbery, extortion, fire, bomb threats and the safety of customers and employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned including working with Corporate Security Management in the development and implementation of departmental goals.
• Continually strive to provide excellent customer service to our corporate partners and customers.
• Assist in reviewing alarm and video activity reports to check vendor performance and identify gaps.
• Assist in inventory of security equipment that is shipped to the security console.
• Ability to be flexible with shift work and schedule.
