Overview
Shriners Children's Ohio is seeking an exceptional, board-certified Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology to build and lead our anesthesia department and drive clinical innovation in pediatric burn and reconstructive care.
Responsibilities
As Chief of Anesthesia, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and develop a comprehensive pediatric anesthesiology program
- Oversee clinical operations, quality improvement, and interdepartmental collaboration
- Develop and implement advanced regional and acute pain protocols
- Contribute to cutting-edge clinical research in pediatric anesthesiology
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia, along with Pediatric Anesthesia board Certification (or eligibility) and board Certification in Anesthesiology.
- Must possess or be eligible for OH medical license
- Must possess or be eligible for DEA license
- Must be BLS, ACLS and PALS certified
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a pediatric medical setting
- Exceptional clinical skills with a proven track record of patient care excellence
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop medical teams
