Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a CRNA to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details :

• Anesthesiology services provided include obstetrical, general and regional anesthesia as well as emergency and trauma anesthesia.
• The CRNA will have the unique opportunity to practice in a wide variety of cases including Obstetrics and to work with a large team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
• The work hours are flexible, and a wide variety of shifts are available for the right candidates.
• The work culture is supportive, with the latest equipment and safety a top priority.
• CRNA to MD is 1 : 1 ratio.
• Under physician supervision, with latitude for individual professional judgement.
• Responds to calls outside of the Operating Room for resuscitative measures and pain management.
• Capable of interviewing patients for pre-operative assessment & evaluation, select the anesthetic agent, technique, and the use of all anesthesia-related drugs appropriate to the individual patient.
• Manages the anesthesia process which includes the induction, maintenance and the emergence from anesthesia.
• Capable of setting up and using all equipment available in the Operating Room and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), used for the management of anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring.
• Responds to calls outside the Operating Room for endotracheal intubation, cardioversions, conscious sedation, and participates in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
• Responsible for preparation, and daily maintenance & operation of anesthetic equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of anesthetic medications and supplies.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $150,000

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $263,800

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

The annual base salary listed complies with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual base salary listed is for part-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits. Actual total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and historical collections.
