Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a skilledexperienced and licensed Maryland State Inspector to join our team. As the MSI you will be responsible for performing Maryland state inspections as well as troubleshooting issues for maximum reliability and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Examineand diagnose vehicles
  • Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor
  • Communicate additional service requests to the service advisor
  • Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman
  • Provide labor time estimates to the service advisor
  • Monitor repair time and update the service advisor regularly
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Complete story and / or documentation for client repairs
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees
  • Attend company and factory training
  • Keep current with factory technical bulletins
  • Understand and follow federal state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
  • Applies proper use of PPE and adheres to safety standards in the shop environment.
  • Must keep the vehicle you are working on clean and free of grease and oil

    • Requirements

  • Maryland State Inspection License Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One-three months of related experience and / or training
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Able to pass pre-employment background checks MVR and drug screen
  • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
