Security Officer - Flex Auto Patrol

As a Security Officer - Flex Auto Patrol in Pennsauken, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Time : Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding incidents, observations, and / or concerns.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal and client policies and procedures while on post.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
