Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality rehabilitative care. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional abilities, regain independence, and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic activities to enhance mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes or concerns to the supervising OT.
- Support patient education on exercises, equipment use, and home care techniques.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive therapy environment for patients.
Qualifications :
Current COTA license or certification (active and unrestricted).Experience in rehabilitation, outpatient, acute care, or long-term care settings preferred.Strong communication, patient interaction, and documentation skills.Ability to follow treatment plans and work effectively as part of a therapy team.
