Warehouse Supervisor (Night Shift)

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations

· Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements

· Optimize employee workflow and make suggestions for productivity improvements

· Ensure reduction of financial loss related to damaged products

· Analyze shipment logs and review timelines of scheduled deliveries

· Move inventory around by scheduling materials to be moved to-and-from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments

· Review and edit payroll and commission reports, submit reports for payment

· Opens and closes the shift

· Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers periodically

· Ensure that facility vehicles and equipment are properly maintained

· Determine and track most important KPIs

· Maintain storage area clean by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommends improvements when needed

· Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items

· Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or an associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or any related field of study preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable

· Forklift and OSHA certified preferred

· Experience of 2 to 3 years in warehousing or supply chain management

· Exceptional leadership skills and directing abilities

· Strong interpersonal, motivational capabilities, and communication skills

· Understanding of all safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods

· Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines

· Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
