Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Lead Consultant Engineer to provide leadership in enterprise technology strategy, solution design, implementation, and integration across large-scale IT environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, modernize platforms, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, architectural expertise, and hands-on technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level technology solutions and architecture.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into strategic technical solutions.
Guide cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex projects and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Oversee system integration, application modernization, cloud adoption, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
Conduct assessments of existing systems and recommend improvements for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
Drive technology roadmap planning, standards documentation, and governance processes.
Provide leadership in troubleshooting complex production issues and root cause analysis.
Evaluate emerging technologies and propose adoption strategies.
Act as a technical advisor for project managers, business leaders, and engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with architectural frameworks, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Manage vendor relationships and technical partnerships.
Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement across teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise IT engineering or architecture roles.
Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and cross-functional project delivery.
Strong background in enterprise systems architecture, integration patterns, cloud platforms, and infrastructure.
Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Java / .NET, Microservices, API management, databases, CI / CD, and DevOps practices.
Solid understanding of networking, security frameworks, virtualization, and distributed computing.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Master's degree or industry certifications such as AWS / Azure Architect, PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, or DevOps certifications.
Experience in modernization of legacy systems including on-prem to cloud migration.
Strong architecture documentation and modeling skills (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate).
Background in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
Experience in enterprise environments such as healthcare, finance, retail, or government.
Prior consulting or client-facing leadership experience.
