The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's incoming payments, donations, and any other source of incoming revenue, ensuring accurate and timely processing of receipts, and supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a critical part in sustaining the financial health of the organization by supporting management, donor contributions, program service revenue, and other receivables.
Reports To : HV Finance Manager
Responsibilities :
- Records donations and revenue in the accounting system with proper fund classification (e.g., restricted vs. unrestricted)
- Process all incoming weekly donations for all MC Campuses & HV using giving software
- Oversees scheduling for Sunday offering collections
- Must become proficient with giving platform
- Manages personal & giving emails, addressing giving emails withing 48 hours of receiving
- Responsible for handling / distributing all annual EOY giving statements.
- Responsible for contacting / notifying donors of failed donations
- Responsible for providing giving status on all requests from MC / HV Staff
- Responsible for tracking / preparing all non-donation check deposits (sls tuition, travel reimbursements etc)
- Handles all petty cash for MC Sports league, tracking / logging and making sure cash is available on a weekly basis
- Responsible for posting all Journal Entries of incoming revenue from all merchant processors such as (Stripe, Team Snaps, Square, Tithely, shopify)
- Reconcile posted deposits to giving sites
- Responsible for ensuring all Merchandise Revenue collected for each HV is transferred accordingly
- Responsible for assisting with HFM event
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Work Schedule
This position is full-time exempt a minimum of 40 hrs a week - Monday through Friday. Your work schedule could vary depending on events and conferences. There will need to be some flexibility.
