Job Description

Position : Electrical Technician

Overview :

We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems within a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, safety awareness, and the ability to read and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities :

  • Work scheduled shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
  • Follow all PPE requirements and maintain a safe work environment at all times
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, bills of material, and work instructions
  • Perform electrical tasks according to established quality and efficiency standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair 12V and 24V DC electrical systems
  • Use multimeters and electrical tools for testing, diagnosis, and repairs
  • Assist and train other team members as assigned
  • Follow communication protocols for reporting process or material deviations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Skills & Requirements :

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
  • Proficiency in electrical techniques, tools, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of 12V and 24V DC circuits
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics
  • Proficient in basic material handling
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to take written and verbal instruction
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, and resolution skills

    • Qualifications :

  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Detail-oriented, takes initiative, and results-focused
  • Ability to work independently with moderate guidance
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Vocational or technical school training preferred
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire for success

    • Work Environment :

  • Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions including machinery, noise, and PPE requirements
  • Safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, and other PPE required
  • Ambient plant temperatures with standard industrial lighting and equipment

    • Physical Demands :

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to reach, push, pull, and lift within required safety limits
  • Sit or stand as needed depending on task

    • Other Requirements :

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Professional attitude with flexibility and strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Project management experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Reliable attendance and ability to travel within North America as needed
  • Must follow all safety policies, procedures, and dress code

    • Schedule :

  • Monday–Friday, 6AM-2 : 30PM, 40+ hours per week
  • Overtime and weekends as required

    • Pay : $30+ depending on experience
