About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified RRT in Fayetteville, Georgia, 30214!

Pay Rate : $43.00 - $47.00 / Hourly.

Summary : The RRT-NICU provides specialized respiratory care to premature and critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role requires advanced clinical skills, expertise in neonatal ventilation, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, life-sustaining respiratory support.

Responsibilities :

• Provide neonatal respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, CPAP / BiPAP, HFNC, and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform ventilator management and make adjustments based on blood gases, clinical assessments, and provider orders.
• Assist with advanced neonatal respiratory procedures such as intubation, surfactant administration, and extubation.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including arterial / capillary blood gases, pulse oximetry, and transcutaneous monitoring.
• Respond to emergent situations including neonatal resuscitation, codes, and rapid response events.
• Participate in delivery room resuscitations as part of the neonatal response team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ventilators, incubators, and monitoring devices.
