A company is looking for a Procurement Director to assist with the overall planning and direction of the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
Provide supervision, training, and performance evaluations for staff
Coordinate daily team activities and manage procurement strategies to meet organizational goals
Prepare reports on departmental activities and manage the procurement budget and supplier base
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education
C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility required
Experience in staffing, training, and performance management preferred
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Advanced organizational and mathematical skills
