Position Summary
: The CAPEX Buyer is responsible for optimizing the value delivered by Carlex’s supply agreements and supplier relationships. The CAPEX Buyer is responsible for setting priorities and managing strategic sourcing activity in the areas of capital equipment, service contracts, and installation projects. The CAPEX Buyer brings sourcing support to capital projects and maintenance projects within the plants. This role brings outstanding service and value by being highly collaborative with all plant stakeholders, especially engineering and maintenance. At a corporate level, the role is responsible for engagement with Corporate Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies to collaborate on existing and new technologies for projects across the company. The CAPEX Buyer will be responsible for effective communication and reporting of local, national and international supplier activity.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
