Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience are also eligible for consideration. Design experience (Creo preferred). Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.). Engine or testing experience desired. Strong communication skills
Meridian is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for their client in Mossville IL .
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide manufacturing support to engine builds / testing.
- Standard work, tooling design, tooling orders, BIQ walk backs.
- Provide manufacturing solutions to the assembly and disassembly of engines.
- Provide analysis to drive to root cause and / or determine improvements, and lead projects to develop and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements.
- Procure materials related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers.
- Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements.
- Improve Value Stream metrics by defining and implementing process improvement activities.
