About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Shift : Monday - Friday

Hours per Shift : 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM / 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM (variable shift), every other weekend

Experience : Minimum 1 year in Diagnostic Imaging, recent relevant experience in MRI

License : NYS licensure in Radiography

Certifications : Certified by NYS to inject contrast media, ARRT certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Must-Have : High School diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited Radiography program, maintains CE credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements

Description :

This position is for an MRI Technologist.

The technologist will work a variable shift, Monday to Friday, and every other weekend.

A High School diploma or GED is required.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Radiography program.

NYS licensure in Radiography is necessary.

Candidates must be certified by NYS to inject contrast media.

An ARRT certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging is required.

Candidates must maintain continuing education credits as per the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging, with recent relevant experience in MRI.

Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and modality-specific software is essential.

This position is considered a critical need.
