We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room Nurse Manager to lead a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Independence, MO. This department manages 64 beds, sees approximately 63,000 patients annually (180 average daily), and treats a high-acuity mix, including Level I trauma cases. The ER Manager will oversee paramedics, secretaries, and techs, ensuring smooth operations, clinical excellence, and a culture of teamwork.

Provide leadership and management of daily Emergency Room operations.

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff performance across the ER team.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership to optimize patient outcomes.

Oversee budgets, staffing, and scheduling to maintain productivity and quality goals.

Support staff development through orientation, training, and continuing education.

Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote patient-centered care.

Required :

Current RN license (Missouri or Compact).

Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma.

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Emergency Department experience as a Charge RN.

Strong leadership and critical decision-making skills.

BLS within 30 days of hire.

ACLS within 90 days of hire.

ENPC within 1 year of hire.

TNCC within 1 year of hire.

Preferred :

BSN or higher degree in Nursing.

Prior manager or supervisor experience in a high-volume ER.

Salary : $53.12 $61.99 / hr (DOE).

$25,000 sign-on bonus with 2-year commitment.
