Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a skilled professional in behavior analysis to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Kansas City, MO. The contract runs from mid-December 2025 through late May 2026, requiring on-site presence and approximately 35 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include :
- Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Modeling intervention strategies for teachers, paraprofessionals, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Providing training on various evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Supervising RBTs and collaborating closely with education professionals and district personnel
- Observing and evaluating student behavior as well as classroom environments, offering recommendations for adjustments
- Coordinating program components, support needs, and materials to ensure effective service delivery
- Collecting and analyzing behavioral data to measure intervention effectiveness and inform adjustments
- Researching current evidence-based practices related to behavior and educational programming
- Preparing detailed reports, training materials, and maintaining electronic documentation aligned with established guidelines
Qualifications and experience preferred :
BCBA certification with appropriate licensureCompletion of a supervision course for overseeing RBTsDemonstrated ability in assessment, program development, and implementation across academic, social, and behavioral domainsStrong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsExperience working within a K-12 school environment is a plusThis contract presents the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success through collaborative behavior support planning and implementation.
