Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and other testing equipment to perform thorough evaluations of products.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends or areas for improvement.
- Assist in training staff on quality control processes and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant AWS / AISC regulations throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with quality of structural steel.Experience with vision inspection systems and data collection methodologies.Able to utilize excel for documentation.Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Job Type : Full-time
