What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage relationships with assigned payer organization personnel in a customer service capacity
- Communicate effectively with payers via email, phone, and other communication methods
- Collaborate with the assigned Payor Director or Senior Director to manage client accounts
- Handle direct referral processes and ensure timely communication with case managers
- Prepare and submit client reports by due dates and assist with reimbursement projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience
- 24 years of experience in healthcare, managed care, customer service, or client account management
- Experience with payer relationships and healthcare contracts, credentialing, and re-credentialing processes
- Familiarity with case management procedures, referral processes, and billing/reimbursement systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in home infusion and/or specialty pharmacy
- Knowledge of healthcare management software and online portals for payer and referral management
- Strong organizational, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
