Essential Job Functions
- Develop positive working relationships with priests and lay leaders to ensure their cooperation, commitment and enthusiasm for the campaign process.
- Enthusiastically and passionately engage parishioners to fulfill the goals of the campaign.
- Coordinate all Campaign activities - taking responsibility for their successful execution.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with all Diocesan and individual parish personnel.
- Plan, implement, coordinate and manage the comprehensive Greater Glory Campaign.
- Facilitate the distribution of all necessary campaign materials.
- Plan, organize and participate in all campaign-related events. These include all evening receptions and weekend gatherings.
- Recruit, train and motivate campaign leadership and volunteers.
- Train parish leadership in the best practices of capital campaigns, including, but not limited to, engaging parishioners, soliciting leadership, and major gifts, and communicating the campaign plan.
- Advise parish leaders on best practices and conform to the highest standards of ethics in dealing with potential donors.
- Assure that there is a constant open line of communication between the Pastor, Office of Mission Advancement, and the Office Manager.
- Provide any necessary resources regarding the solicitation of major gifts.

Strong communication and organizational skills.A high degree of credibility, integrity, and self-confidence is essential.Ability to maintain confidentiality of the Office and its corresponding documents and data at all times.Minimum Qualifications
Active practicing Roman Catholic who is in full communion with the Church.Able to articulate a clear understanding of the Catholic faith and to serve as a committed witness to its missionBachelor’s degree or commensurate experience (1-3 years of demonstrated experience in the field(s) of development and fundraising).Spanish language proficiency preferred.Must be able to travel within the Diocese of Phoenix and serve in a full- time capacity.Valid driver’s license.Must have own transportation with valid insurance.Evening and weekend work is required.
