Location : Fort Pierce, FL
Schedule : Full-Time | Days, Evenings, Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
Shift Options : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
Pay Range : $30.34 - $42.47 / hr (Based on years of experience)
Overview :
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in a high-acuity acute care setting. This role performs a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. You will work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment equipped with advanced medical technologies and support from experienced healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with ALARA standards
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging studies
- Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of imaging equipment
- Monitor patient conditions and reactions to medications, promptly reporting adverse events
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, films, and results
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care delivery
Qualifications Required :
Registered with either the ARRT (Nuclear) or NMTCB - RequiredFlorida State Radiologic Technologist License - RequiredAssociate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine - RequiredBLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employmentBenefits Include :
