RN - Emergency Room - Per Diem

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis . This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced emergency setting . The ideal candidate will have experience in triage, emergency interventions, and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess, monitor, and collect patient history and symptoms , coordinating with providers to develop patient care plans
• Organize and prioritize patient care in the emergency department , following protocols and treatment guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and clinical knowledge
• Perform and assist with emergency interventions, procedures, and stabilization techniques
• Maintain and perform daily checks on emergency equipment , including monitors, crash carts, and oxygen cylinders
• Ensure compliance with Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) standards and facility policies
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with EMS, medical staff, and fellow nurses to ensure timely and effective patient care
