Document Controller

Are you highly organized, detail-driven, and skilled at managing large volumes of documents with accuracy? Our client, a respected insurance company in West Des Moines, is seeking a Document Controller to support compliance, quality control, and document workflow processes across their organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the creation, organization, distribution, and storage of documents within internal systems
  • Ensure document accuracy, version control, and regulatory compliance
  • Upload, update, and track documents in digital document management platforms
  • Review documents for completeness, formatting, and compliance with company standards
  • Maintain Document Control logs, spreadsheets, and audit trails
  • Assist with document requests, retrievals, and archiving

Requirements :

  • Experience in document control, records management, or administrative support
  • Background in insurance, financial services, compliance, or similarly regulated industries (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency with digital document management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
