[job_card.job_description]Responsible for accuracy, competency and efficiency when conducting tasks related to work area. Follow Work Instructions and processes to ensure assembled parts meet the company's FAA-approved Quality Management System. Required and accountable for performing quality checks, audits and inspections, and is for the quality of any finished product, subassembly and / or installed components. Document production operations in corresponding records and / or log sheets in accordance with work instructions. Regularly perform routine cleaning and maintenance procedures for equipment and the manufacturing area. Actively participate in the continuous improvement of plant operations by supporting LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to established workmanship standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, and ergonomics during performance of assigned duties Assist with developing and implementing new production methods for continuous improvement. Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment throughout the facility. Follow corporate-mandated Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) protocols, and report all injuries and / or near misses to supervisor immediately. High attention to detail and experience with inventory management Accuracy in part selection Thin Sheet Metal working experience, such as Drilling, Riveting, Trimming / Cutting, Countersinking, Dimpling and Assembly Capable of standing for extended periods Ability to occasionally lift upwards of 50 lbs. consistently Experience working in a manufacturing type of environment Self-starter requiring limited supervision, and able to perform job assignments with a very high degree of accuracy Excellent interpersonal skills A quality-focused approach to producing accurate work Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word H.S. Diploma or GED 3-5 years of relevant production experience in aerospace structural assembly 8 hour shifts Core hours : Monday - Friday 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm On-site warehouse / shop and office environment Standard lunch and break periods Environmentally controlled work area Eye and ear protection is provided

Manufacturing Technician I
BLR Aerospace, LLC, a Ducommun Incorporatedcompany, has an immediate opening for Manufacturing Technician I. This is a full-time, on-siteposition for a candidate with relevant production experience, preferably inaerospace or a technical field. BLR is seeking to recruit a ManufacturingTechnician I in the Metro Everett / Seattle, WA area. This is a full-timerole for on-site work performed in our Everett, WA facility.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5years of relevant production experience in aerospace structural assembly. Thecandidate must possess the skills and ability to set up, operate, and maintainhandheld manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of and experience with thin sheetmetal assemblies is required. The ability to follow as well as develop anddocument assembly processes and techniques is required.
