A company is looking for a Remote IP Quality Reviewer.
Key Responsibilities
Access and review medical record documentation for coding and abstracting accuracy
Utilize ICD-10 CM / PCS and CPT coding classification systems for quality reviews
Enter review results into proprietary quality review tracking software and respond to coder rebuttals
Required Qualifications
5+ years of medical coding or review experience
High School Diploma (relevant experience may substitute for formal education)
Must hold an active coding credential (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, CIC, or COC)
Must maintain coding credential while employed
Must pass a coding competency exam
