(BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a
Quality Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team located in
Huntsville, AL!
This position ’s primary duties will be supporting BDS programs,
including Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)
performing First Article Inspection (FAI), Corrective Actions, Non-Conformance Review (NCR) disposition,
review / approving / interpreting
engineering drawing requirements, approving work instructions, and interfacing with customers and stakeholders.
This is an on-site position that currently supports a 4x10 work schedule on Shift A Monday – Thursday 6 : 00AM – 4 : 30PM. Initial training and future support may occur on variable shift. Associate - Level 2 :
Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Works under general supervision.
Mid-Level - Level 3 :
Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Security Clearance for which the U.An interim and / or final U.Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Bachelor's of Science from an accredited course of study in
Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
Experience with AS9100 and / or a similar Quality Management System standard
More than 1 year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
More than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
More than 1 year of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Level 3 : 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
More than 1 year of experience performing line stock checks
Security Clearance
More than 1 year of experience leading or managing projects and / or teams
Experience
communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
Experience working with and building cross functional teams and partnerships with multiple stakeholders within the company, including engineering

Summary pay range for Associate - Level 2 : $79,900 – $108,100
Summary pay range for Mid-Level - Level 3 : $95,200 – $128,800
