[job_card.job_description]The apprentice technician is assigned a 'Mentor' usually a Master Technician to assist him / her in acclimating to dealership operations in addition to sharing the Mentors technical knowledge. And assisting the apprentice as necessary. Perform work as outlined on repair order. Call upon your Mentor, Team Leader or Shop Foreman when you have a question or need assistance. Examine the vehicle to determine if additional service work is recommended. Attend factory-sponsored training classes. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins. Other duties as assigned. At least 1-2 years of of dealership apprentice technician experience (a plus). ASE Certification and / or trade school certification. Honda / Acura (or multi) brand experience. Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment Ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates. Respect for teammates and positive outlook. Valid driver's license and a good driving record. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Pay is $18.00 per hour (this is an entry level technician role).

Job Description
The Apprentice Service Technician must be a graduate of an automotive technician training school. The apprentice is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned by their team leader.
