Summary

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our kitchen staff team. As a member of the kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients according to recipes or guidelines.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain cleanliness.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, and deep fryers.
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and communicate shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper storage conditions and rotation of perishable items.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware, either by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash bins.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth operations and timely execution of food orders.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety guidelines.
