Attorney (Licensed in Maryland) – Remote with Required In-Person Hearings Location :

  • Remote (within Maryland, with in-person court appearances) About Stillman Law Office : Stillman Law Office is a multi-state Creditors' Rights law firm specializing in Consumer and Commercial Collections and Insurance Subrogation .
  • We are currently seeking attorneys licensed to practice in Maryland .
  • This position offers the flexibility to work remotely but requires in-person court appearances across the state of Maryland.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Represent clients in in-person court appearances across Maryland as required.
  • Conduct legal research, review case materials, and draft pleadings and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful case management while meeting deadlines in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment .
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and clients, contributing to case strategies and updates.

    • Candidate Attributes :

  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and capable of multi-tasking effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing a large caseload while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the firm.

    • Qualifications :

  • Licensed to practice law in Maryland .
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Admission to any of the following states is a plus but not required :

  • Delaware Michigan Connecticut New Hampshire Massachusetts Virginia Washington, D.C.

    • Interview Process :

  • Candidates must complete an application prior to the interview.
  • Interviews will be conducted via telephone in lieu of on-site meetings.
  • Applicants should submit a clean copy of their resume.

  • Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening prior to hire.
