Staff Accountant

Location : South Bend, IN (100% onsite)

  • This role offers a variety of accounting responsibilities, supporting both daily operations and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with audit preparation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in general accounting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Salary : $57,000 - $59,000 depending on experience

    Note : This role is 100% onsite
