Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Proficiency in computer systems, healthcare software, and web-based applications
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use the nursing process effectively for patient assessment and care delivery
• Knowledge of current federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS)
• Experience with patient education and teaching strategies
• Leadership or team coordination experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Over two years of hands-on hospital or clinical experience in a Medical/Surgical setting

Other Requirements:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Possession of and adherence to all safety protocols to minimize occupational risks associated with bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous waste
• Flexible schedule; shift details to be determined as needed
