Overview

Position : Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location : Concord NC

Schedule : Part-time we are open Mon-Fri

Compensation : $38.00 - $45.00 / hr (pending experience)

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred we are willing to consider occupational therapists or physical therapists with one year of experience in hand therapy (required). We h ave a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

    • Responsibilities

  • Collaboration : Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care : Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB clinician expertise patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment : Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building : Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

    • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • One (1) year of experience as a hand therapist
  • CPR certification
  • Valid drivers license

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
