As an Infection Preventionist , you’ll serve as a key clinical leader responsible for creating, implementing, and managing evidence-based infection prevention practices throughout the organization. Your expertise will directly protect residents, staff, and visitors by reducing healthcare-associated infections, improving quality outcomes, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include :

Management

• Coordinate the Infection Control Program across Providence Point and Baptist Homes.
• Maintain public health reporting systems for mandated communicable diseases.
• Track, monitor, and report healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
• Investigate exposures to communicable diseases and blood / body fluids.
• Maintain documentation related to infection control, nosocomial infections, and reportable diseases.
• Collaborate with the Department of Health and other regulatory agencies.
• Participate in mandatory education programs and provide weekend / on-call coverage.
