Lead Endpoint Engineer

Position : Lead Endpoint Engineer

Duration : 6+ Month Contract to Hire

Location : Chicago, IL (2 days onsite / 3 days remotely)

Need to have heavy Jamf & Intune experience

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Endpoint Engineering & Lifecycle Management :

Provide expert, hands-on engineering support for all endpoints (Windows, macOS, Mobile), managing device lifecycle, configuration, and operational readiness.

Lead the initial setup and configuration (Standing up MDM) and execution of Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment, particularly using Intune.

Provide advanced, high-level troubleshooting for complex endpoint issues.

MDM Implementation & Optimization :

Collaborate closely with existing technical teams on the implementation and optimization of Intune / MDM solutions, working alongside legacy systems like SCCM where applicable.

Manage and maintain Apple devices using JAMF Pro.

Security & Vulnerability Management :

Actively hunt vulnerabilities from an endpoint perspective and efficiently plan and execute remediation efforts.

Utilize MS Defender and other security tools to maintain a strong security posture.

Leadership, Coaching, & Communication :

Lead and coach internal Endpoint Engineering team members, driving best practices and technical growth
