Position Overview:

As a Production Team leader at Folding Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production floor during the second shift. You will lead a team of production associates, oversee manufacturing processes, and contribute to the attainment of production targets while upholding the company's commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to a team of production associates.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
• Oversee production processes to ensure they are executed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process and take corrective action to address deviations from quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality control protocols.
• Provide training to new hires and ensure ongoing training for existing team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
• Enforce safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and participate in incident investigations as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including work orders, production reports, and quality control documentation.
• Generate regular reports on production metrics, including output, quality, and efficiency.
• Work closely with other departments such as Maintenance, Quality Control, and Engineering to address production-related issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).
• Four years of experience in a production environment, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
