Sr SQL Server Functional Application DBA

Seeking Sr SQL Server Functional / Application DBA consultants to be part of a team that will ensure that the new database code meets company standards for readability reliability and performance. Additionally :

• On a weekly basis give developers are list of the top 10 most resource-intensive queries on the server and suggest ways to improve performance on each.
• Design indexes for existing applications choosing when to add or remove indexes
• Help developers improve the performance of queries that users complain about its performance by tweaking or modifying it
• Conduct SQL Server lunch-and-learn sessions for application developers.
• Advise developers on the most efficient database designs (tables datatypes stored procedures functions etc)

Must have 8 years of experience working for US companies in the US.

Must have 4 years of Recent Banking experience (Since 2016).

Proficient in MS SQL Server 2014 - 2019.

SSIS Package creation and debugging skills.
