The expected salary for this role ranges from $103,500 to $115,000, based on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
LOCATION
This position requires a full-time on-site presence at project locations. Initially, you will be working on-site at a project location in the Washington D.C. area, primarily on a 2nd shift. Work hours may vary based on client needs, with occasional weekend hours required. Flexibility is key, as this role may involve varying shifts on short notice. Following the D.C. project, you will support other sites across the Mid-Atlantic region, necessitating travel to those locations as required.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) is crucial for developing and reviewing site-specific Accident Prevention Plans (APP), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and conducting on-site safety education. Your proactive approach will ensure overall safety and health compliance for the project, while managing, implementing, and enforcing the APP. This position entails full-time on-site safety and occupational health management, including surveillance, inspections, training, reporting, and safety enforcement.
