$18 - $24 hourly Typical Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the Kitchen, both front and back
- Manage stock of supplied and food, place orders for kitchen related items
- Place service calls, deal with vendors and contractors
- Be able and prepared to cover breaks for other food service staff
- Maintain work schedule and assign breaks
- Coordinate with delicatessen to ensure great customer service
- HR duties including reviews, interviews, discipline.
- Must have verbal proficiency of the English language, and be able to read and write English at an advanced level
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following :
Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificateMust have prior experience in the food service industryVerbal proficiency of the English language, and be able to read and write at an advanced levelLeading a teamUse of commercial kitchen equipmentModel excellent customer service, and hold your staff accountable for doing the sameBe able and prepared to cover breaks for other food service staffPlace service calls, deal with vendors and contractorsLift food and dishes up to 50 lbs. Up to 100 times per dayCarry trays of fishes, boxes of products up to 25 feetPush / pull carts and dolliesConstant walking and standingMust be available to work various shifts as needed
