What You Will Be Doing :

The SQL Database Developer designs, develops, and maintains robust and efficient processes within SQL Server. This role involves creating and optimizing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views, as well as developing ETL processes for data integration and warehousing. In addition to the primary database platform being SQL Server, this position will also assist in developing within the Snowflake database platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, be adept at performance tuning and query optimization, and have a solid understanding of database security and best practices to ensure data integrity and accessibility for various applications and reporting needs.

This role is a hybrid position with at least 3 days in-office.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities :

• Design and Development :

Design, develop, and implement high-quality, efficient database objects, including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers using T-SQL.

Optimize and tune complex, high-volume T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes to ensure optimal application performance.

Develop and implement solutions for data migration, replication, and synchronization.

Collaborate with application development teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.

Create and maintain technical documentation related to database design, code, and operational processes.
