Your Daily Adventures

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and developing unique care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in partnership with medical peers or independently based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families regarding preventive measures, health practices, and chronic condition management
• Prescribing medication and therapies within the established framework of practice
• Engaging in both patient follow-up and chronic care coordination
• Working cohesively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care
• Meticulously documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Prerequisites for This Role

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications You Will Need

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Utah
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to obtain these within 90 days)
