Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Budget Analyst I to support KPS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Our team of professionals provides expertise in budgeting, analysis, and compliance to support effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.

The Budget / Financial Analyst I will play a critical role in providing financial management information, including availability of funds, status of obligations, and expenditures. This position will be responsible for cyclical budget formulation, preparing detailed analyses and estimates of annual funding requirements for future budget years. The Budget / Financial Analyst I will develop recommended budgets in accordance with legislative and regulatory guidance, collaborating with program officials to monitor and control the use of funds. Additionally, this role will maintain integrated financial systems, apply financial administration practices and procedures, track invoices, research complex financial issues, and prepare monthly reports. The successful candidate will gain proficiency in the Department's financial systems, such as the Global Financial Management System (GFMS) and Data Warehouse (DW).

Education and Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting studies involving multiple organizational levels and processes / functions
