Junior Specialist – Inventory
Job Description
The Junior Specialist, Inventory supports the business by establishing, maintaining, and optimizing the global inventory system. At this level, the role requires familiarity with most inventory responsibilities and the ability to perform well-defined tasks with minimal guidance. The specialist proactively reports work status and provides feedback as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Confirm material deliveries from other regions or suppliers by executing goods receipt postings in the ERP system and delivering materials to the appropriate location.
Maintain oversight of incoming items from global locations to consolidate and resolve related issues.
Provide requested inventory parts to internal customers and record transactions accurately.
Support loading and unloading of goods.
Participate in ongoing and scheduled inventory counts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Competencies & Education
Education & Certifications
Vocational training, apprenticeship, or similar education in warehouse operations or a related field is required.
Certification in transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean, air) preferred.
Forklift and overhead crane certification preferred.
Experience with load securing methods preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of inventory experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience with production / manufacturing processes and techniques preferred.
Experience working in an international and culturally diverse environment preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work performed primarily in a warehouse environment.
Frequent work in shop / field environments.
Occasional work in outdoor weather conditions (hot, wet, cold).
Occasional exposure to mechanical or environmental noise.
Occasional work at heights or precarious locations.
Occasional domestic and / or international travel.
Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more (role is physically demanding).
