The Wilkes Brentwood is a newly-opened, much-anticipated restaurant in the Brentwood Village area of Los Angeles. Our call volume is beyond that which can be managed by our existing staff.
The restaurant reservationist will manage bookings for the restaurant, which includes answering calls, processing online requests, and organizing the seating schedule. Key duties involve using reservation software to manage reservations, handling guest inquiries, coordinating with the host team, and resolving customer issues. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities
- Manage reservations : Answer phones, respond to online requests, and book reservations for guests.
- Handle inquiries : Provide information about the menu, special events, and other restaurant details.
- Operate reservation software : Accurately input customer information and manage the seating schedule to maximize capacity.
- Coordinate with staff : Liaise with the host team and other departments to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Address guest needs : Handle and resolve customer issues, complaints, and special requests.
- Process payments : Accept payments and handle transactions for reservations when required.
